Q2: Aren't you afraid of going to hell?

Patrick Julius answers: Not at all, really. No more than I am afraid of going to Hades instead of Elysium, or of being reincarnated as a cockroach instead of a Bodhisattva, or of ending up in Mordor instead of Valinor. You can't be afraid of something you don't believe in. I know it's hard for many believers to accept, but atheists actually don't believe in religion. We don't think it's true, or even plausible.
